Compulsive hoarding cannot be solved by simply cleaning out the home or organizing the house. Depending on the situation, if the home of a person who hoards is cleared without their consent and participation, they may experience extreme distress which can result in resistance to further treatment or service. Our multidisciplinary approach includes professional organizing, therapeutic, and supplemental services.  It begins with a professional organizer providing a free assessment up to 45 minutes. Based on the assessment, a recommendation of a combination of services is proposed that includes costs. Services can include:

Professional Organizing Services

  • Free onsite assessment of up to 45-minutes
  • Compassionate, non-judgmental de-cluttering with the client’s participation
  • Building new habits that mitigate excessive acquiring and excessive saving, and promote discard
  • Priority steps to address safety and health issues

Therapeutic Services*

  • Referrals to licensed therapists experienced with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Individual and/or Group Therapy
  • Referrals to virtual or tangible support groups

Supplemental Services

  • Cleaning services
  • Home improvement/repairs
  • Mold and/or mildew mitigation
  • Biohazard services, equipment and supplies
  • Refuge containers/junk removal
  • County and City code enforcement
